About Heather Simpkins

My name is Heather Simpkins, and I recently graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor of Science studying Digital Cinematography. I've been creating videos my whole life, and not until after retirement from the Air Force, I finally pursued my lifelong dream to attend school of film. Before attending film school, I was in the Air Force in Security Forces for 9 years and became a Chaplain Assistant for the last 11 years. I have always worked in a "helper" role and believed in service before self. I am a spiritual person; we all have a purpose and gift to share with the world.
 

One of my greatest strengths is working behind the scenes and helping others bring to life their vision. Setting the stage for an excellent presentation is something I take to heart. I'm also a great listener and encourager, and that is why I initially went to college during the military. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2014 from Argosy University in Orange County, California.
 

My vision is to capture you at your best through video production. I have always worked in a role to try to put people in the best light possible. Now I do that through cinematography. I want to showcase you and help you in following your dreams. I will build on your strengths and help tell your story. So let me be your "Wizard of OZ!"
